For pastors and lay preachers
Many faithful preachers have substantial ministry responsibility without easy access to residential theological education. NCTS is designed to help close that gap through structured online study.
The seminary is not an end in itself. It is the platform through which serious biblical and theological teaching can reach people who are already serving churches, preparing to preach, teaching others, or simply hungry to understand Scripture with greater care.
NCTS courses therefore aim for more than information. Sound doctrine should shape worship, preaching, judgement, character, prayer, and the daily life of faith.
Many faithful preachers have substantial ministry responsibility without easy access to residential theological education. NCTS is designed to help close that gap through structured online study.
Seminary-level habits of careful reading and theological thought can serve ordinary Christians who want to move beyond surface knowledge of the Bible.
Cost should not be used as an unnecessary barrier to biblical learning. That is why NCTS includes free courses and keeps paid study deliberately affordable.
NCTS courses are designed to help learners read Scripture carefully, understand biblical teaching in context, connect doctrine with the whole counsel of Scripture, and apply truth to Christian life and ministry.
Assessment, progress records, certificates, and optional study pathways support the learning process, but they are not the reason NCTS exists. The central purpose is deeper understanding of Scripture and faithful growth in the knowledge of God.
Information about NCTS points, certificates, academic status, and study records is available under Student information.
Christian faith is not strengthened by avoiding thought. Scripture calls believers to know the truth, handle the Word carefully, grow in discernment, and teach faithfully. Theological study serves that calling when it remains accountable to Scripture and directed towards faithful Christian living.
The goal is not merely to know more facts about God. It is to understand the biblical witness more clearly so that knowledge shapes trust, obedience, ministry, and worship.
