This course, Basic Christian Concepts, offers an introduction to the core beliefs and practices of Christianity. At Level 5 with 8 credits, the course is designed to provide a foundational understanding of key Christian doctrines, the nature of God, and the role of the church in the life of believers. This course will prepare students to engage thoughtfully with their faith and to communicate essential Christian teachings effectively within their communities.

Students will explore the historical development and contemporary relevance of basic Christian beliefs. The course will cover essential doctrines such as the Trinity, Christology, salvation, and eschatology. Additionally, students will examine the importance of sacraments, prayer, and Christian ethics.
